I love Michael J. Fox but that's not any big secret!
This is the second of his three books that I have read and I loved it just as much as the first one Lucky Man, you can read all about it here.
Unlike, his first two books A Funny Thing.... is written as an "advice" book for graduates. Fox offers a comically skewed take on how, in his own way, he fulfilled the requirements of a college syllabus. He learned Economics as a starving artist; an unexpected turn as a neophyte activist schooled him in Political Science; and his approach to Comparative Literature involved stacking books up against their movie versions.
Just goes to prove that no matter how many college credit you have, you really haven't learned a thing till you get to the "real" world and all it's challenges!
I would recommend this book to anyone that is just starting out or just needing a little encouragement and knowledge that no one's life is perfect.
It's an easy and fast read, a short 100 pages. Anyone, could knock this book out in just a few hours.
5 stars!
